  • Responsible for overseeing the modeling team in collaboration with the Modeling Supervisor.

  • Lookdev and shader creation to define the show-style and quality benchmarks.

  • Modeled character assets in Maya and ZBrush for various Disney animated series.

  • Used Mari, Photoshop and Mudbox, Substance Painter and Substance Designer in conjunction with Arnold to texture and shade detailed assets.

  • Responsible for overseeing the modeling team for 'The Deep' and 'Slugterra', training new employees and filling in for the department supervisor when needed.

  • Responsible for major character modeling, texturing and rigging for `The Deep` and 'Slugterra'.

  • Provided model checks and feedback to team members to assure production-ready rigs.

  • Worked with the pipeline department to convert XSI assets to Maya and develop shaders in Renderman and VRay.

  • Conducted interviews for new potential hires.

 

Senior Character Modeler

April 2013 to November 2014

  • Responsible for major character modeling, texturing and rigging for `Max Steel`. Created high-fidelity character models to serve as key players for the show and as templates for Mattel`s toy line.

  • Lead layout consultant for `Max Steel`. Attended meetings with the directors and animation supervisors, and advised junior modelers regarding layout requests.

  • Provided model checks and feedback to team members to assure production-ready rigs.

  • Responsible for character modeling, texturing and rigging for `Max Steel`. Helped to define the show`s look from the beginning of production by collaborating with the series director, lead designers and Mattel.

  • Liaison between the `Monster High' modeling department and the animation and imaging departments. Worked with directors and animation supervisors to problem-solve and address modeling requests.
